Playing critical currently and Chicken Little is essentially the only one that matters at all. He completely trivializes all non-bosses, which WILL be 99% of your deaths in critical, when some random enemy off-screen bops you once and you just die. He's only okay against bosses, but bosses aren't actually hard in critical. On any lower difficulty none of them matter at all

Another way to check if you have the high scores for 100 Acre Wood is at Pooh's House if you look at the pots, they're empty, but if they're full of honey you've achieved the high score for that mini game. I can't remember which pot is connected to which game though.

Replaying KH 1 again due to the Steam version on pc. Still love this game so much and I am planning on replaying the other games as well. Before I starting with the other games I wanted to craft the Ultima weapon which I never did back when I was a child and complete all the optional bosses. Just completed crafting the Ultima weapon thanks to your vid! First video which was actually helpful and straight to the point, would love to see a similar type of vid for the other games as well, thanks again!

I recently started to play the KH series and finished KH1 and the Ariel part was driving me nuts because it didn't make sense so i'm glad I learned there were a technical reason to that, along with other very interesting things. 44:18 I don't know if this is a definite answer, but maybe the Princesses were allowed to meet because of the Disney Princess brand. Disney has had a lot of their princesses marketed together for the Disney Princess line of merchandise so maybe because they already had them together for that they were able to have them meet in Kingdom Hearts. Still doesn't explain the villains getting to meet though. I could also be wrong about this because I honestly don't know when Disney started producing that line of merchandise.

13:54 One person already commented about this, but I think it needs a bit more clarification. Sephiroth was introduced in the localized versions of KH1 (such as North America and Europe). However, the keybalde you get for beating him, One Winged Angel, and the cutscene with Cloud and Sephiroth meeting were only in the Final Mix version. Obviously, you were quoting a Nomura here, but he either misremembered this or was talking from the perspective of Japanese audiences.

6:43 At least in the US, that artbook case was a pre-order only item. 1.5 came out in a standard PS3 case here and also eventually got a Greatest Hits release. There was also a special edition of 2.5 on PS3 that came with 1.5 and the version of 1.5 in that edition had a different disc art that more closely matched the disc art of 2.5.

Actually that scene of Sora running up Darksides arm is likely player done. Recently my kid was playing the game and achieved most of what was done. Hoping up its arm then shoulder to target the head. Which shocked me as I knew you could aim at the head by scrolling the targets... I just never realised I could hop on its arm. Seems fairly obvious seeing as alot of the big bosses like Maleficent in Dragon form and Cereberus can be climbed upon. I just never put that much effort into the start of the game. It actually makes me wonder can I actually kill Dark side if I only attack its head?

Bahamut and Behemoth are two different entities. Both very powerfull, one is the dragon summon, the other is the mightiest predator to ever exist in the animal kingdom. So no Bahamut is not pronounced "Behemoth"

Gonna throw my two cents in for that wild west world: Around the time of Kingdom Heart's release, the original concept for home on the range called "Sweating Bullets" was heavily in development. It had a production date of around 1995-2001 iirc? The project was grittier with a timid cowboy and his young cow companion fighting undead cattle rustlers. So it matches the softer cow pasture underside of the world sketches as well as the more boney-themed saloon up top. So my bet is that Sweating Bullets was the concept for the wild west world, not Frontierland or Home on the Range.

I find it very interesting how much 'water' was clearly the original theme for the space between worlds. The GummiShip was originally a submarine, both apparent Gummi bosses we can see are aquatic (Monstro and Hook's ship), and now I'm wondering what this all means for the Dive to the Heart being connected to water even in the final game. Instead of a void of darkness, and ocean of darkness, with little bubbles of safety where light can flourish...

My favorite is finding out about freezing the bubbles in Hollow Bastion.

Not gonna lie, those "Disney-fied" pieces of Sora, Riku, and Kairi are actually REALLY good. Shows how solid the designs of the main trio are if they can look good in 2 entirely different art styles.

I was always curious about Sora's mom. I mean since the world went poof till the end of game time, it makes sense to me that she was plopped on some other world like everyone else. I'd love to see a comic written from her POV that could consist of her hearing about a "key-wielding hero" and getting hints here and there that it's Sora. Putting it together that her son is alive and well. Maybe it ends when he comes back to the Islands and they have a reunion. I just think it'd be cute.
